Cheaper airfare costs have made it more practical for some people to avail medical services abroad, where it is way cheaper at home and there's a good view to look at.
Thus, the development of a multi-billion industry called medical tourism. It may not be that hot yet among most nations, but for some that have found this niche quite early into the game, they're in for a prosperous ride.
